Design Guidelines Paper Stocks:

For Zap Paper Stocks, it is crucial to consider the bleed area, which extends an additional 3mm from the solid black trim line. Ensure that any images or colours reaching the edge of your design fully extend into this bleed area to prevent white lines during trimming. Avoid placing essential content or artwork in this region, as it will be trimmed off.

The solid black trim line indicates the document's finished size. Content placed outside this line will be trimmed.

We strongly advise against placing text or barcodes beyond the red dashed safety line, as anything outside this box may be cut off.

On some paper stocks we have 'fold' lines, these horizontal black lines indicate where the Zap will be folded.

General Guidelines:

All lines and areas mentioned can be shown or hidden from the file menu.

Grey boxes on the Zap indicate postage and returns management areas. No text or barcodes should be placed in these zones, and images will appear behind them.

When using the InDesign file, we strongly advise ticking 'use document bleed setting', this will highlight the bleed area.
