THE BAM IMPACT STORY

BAM is a leading bamboo clothing brand specialising in sustainable products for fitness and leisure. Since starting in 2006, BAM has developed a large customer base. However, they spotted an opportunity to win back lapsed customers and tempt new customers to give them a go.

We had no other way of contacting these customers, so we decided to Zap them and see what happened. For every £1 we spent on Zaps, we ended up getting £14 back in

Unable to reach these customers by email, they ran a ZAP-POST promotion with 25% off their next order while also promoting their refer-a-friend campaign (powered by Mention Me). Recipient data was sourced from Emarsys segments and customers were then sent a personalised Zap with a unique QR code to redeem their offer.

The campaign landed BAM sales with a conversion rate of 9.06%. Considering these were uncontactable customers that could have easily been ‘written off’, BAM was able to win back previous customers and even attract new customer sign-ups through refer-a-friend.

Not only did these referred customers purchase more often, new customers landing on the referral page also converted more frequently. The end result was an impressive 14x return on investment for BAM.
