Firstly, Zaps are Eco friendly direct mail, highly targeted and printed on-demand using FSC paper from sustainable and recycled sources. We're advocates of "Less is More". Send less mail, better.
Brands can significantly reduce their print impact simply by moving away from traditional direct mail.
Sustainable Printing for Advertising Mail
We plant way more trees than the paper we use. We’re proudly partnered with veritree to reforest parts of the planet that have been damaged by paper production. These initiatives reduce extreme poverty by employing local people to plant millions of trees every year in places where they used to grow. Previously, ZAP~POST partnered with the Eden Reforestation Project until the end of 2023 where, together with our sister business, Retain.me, we planted over 130,000 trees.

Small gestures,
big changes
Our passion for nurturing the world is business-wide. The team swapped out a conventional Christmas ‘do’ to don wellies and tool-up with shovels. Trees were planted on a nearby site and the team enjoyed getting first-hand experience at rewilding the earth. We don’t just say, we do.
Recycling and re-purposing
We minimise returns by default: every recipient is validated as still residing at the address. But still, returned zaps do happen. We let you know of any returns and then swiftly and securely shred & convert those zaps to a paper towel. See the fact sheet on our partnership with Shred-it.
